Becoming an LFRR Approved Scientific User
The LFRR is a core facility sponsored by the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS). Clinical data, serum, plasma and DNA from multiplex and simplex families, isolated cases and matched controls are available for use by approved investigators. Each family includes at least one member with at least four ACR criteria for SLE. We accept applications from scientists interested in using data and/or materials to advance our understanding and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus and other diseases. The LFRR Scientific Advisory Committee will review completed applications within approximately three months of receipt. Interested scientists are encouraged to view the application and instructions. Contact Jennifer Kelly, MPH, LFRR Assistant Director, with questions regarding the application process. Materials Available:
